Super Mario Bros. 2: Mario Madness (NES)

With the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 being deemed too hardcore for Western players, Nintendo famously reskinned (and slightly retouched) Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic into the lovely, successful, and formula-breaking Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES we all know. And if you missed the original release, well, you can still grab the game via this Super Mario Bros 2 (NES) eBay auction.

It's the complete, boxed version you'll be bidding on, meaning you'll also be getting the slip case, box, manual, promotional insert, Nintendo Power poster, and plastic packaging. The game cartridge too, obviously.

An Amstrad CPC 6128 from Spain

The Amstrad CPC 6128 did sell really well in Spain; well enough to get its fully translated manual and software, and well enough for at least one Amstrad CPC 6128 to survive in great condition and be put up for auctioning on eBay. The 8-bit micro on offer is in great condition, comes complete with its Amstrad CTM 644 monitor, a manual in Spanish, CP/M and Logo disks, some games on disk, and a disk-box.

Atari Mega STe

The fine, powerful, and rather rare Atari Mega STe was one of Atari's more professionally focused 16-bit machines. It was also a relatively easy to expand micro, and thus often seen simultaneously serving as both a DTP and music editing computer. Here's an Atari Mega STe eBay auction for a very well preserved machine with keyboard, 4MB of RAM, and TOS 2.06.

Sega Saturn Boxed Bundle

Sega's Saturn complex architecture did allow for some absolutely stunning 2D games, while also making a few impressive early textured-mapped 3D tricks possible, but it sadly also made the console both expensive and difficult to code for. Still, the machine has aged very gracefully, and you can grab a working, boxed one via this Sega Saturn eBay auction.

The console on offer is in apparently very good condition, comes with its cables and things, and also two controllers. As for the (boxed) games included, they are a mighty fine selection including Nights Into Dreams, Tomb Raider, D, Command & Conquer, and  Virtua Fighter 2. Oh, and there's a Game Shark cart thrown in too.

Labyrinth for the Commodore 64

Based on the classic Jim Henson film, Labyrinth: The Computer Game by Lucasfilm was an innovative, clever, and rather beautiful adventure game that paved the way to the point-and-click adventure. Interestingly it is quite the rarity too, and collectors should probably bid on this Labyrinth (C64) auction for a lovely Activision-produced tape.

Amsptrad 6128 Plus

It was released late into the 16-bit period, and thus failed to really leave its mark, but the Amstrad CPC 6128 Plus was -- and still -- is a wonderfully impressive 8-bit micro. Its 4096-colours palette, hardware sprites and audiovisual tricks, 128kb of RAM, handy 3" drive, proper keyboard, cartridge port, and SCART video-out made it a machine that could almost compete with the likes of the Atari ST. On a good day, that is.

To own a well preserved specimen, do bid on this delicious Amstrad 6128 Plus eBay auction. The micro on offer has been tested, is fully working, and comes complete in its original box. Everything seems to be in great condition, and with the computer you will also be getting a controller, a SCART lead, a power lead, the Burnin' Rubber / BASIC cartridge, and the manual.

The game has been tested, is working, and comes in its original packaging.

The Adventures of Willy Beamish (Sega CD)

With the MS-DOS version of this lovable cartoon adventure by Sierra & Dynamix appearing on GOG, I couldn't help but get the feeling Retro Treasures readers would care for this Willy Beamish (Sega CD) eBay auction. Amiga 600: The Wild, The Weird & The Wicked

Yes, the Amiga 600 was a pointless update to Commodore's classic 16-bit machine back in 1992, and that was why it was swiftly discontinued. Today though it's a lovely, compact Amiga that will not take up much desk-space, and will be able to provide you with all the retro gaming & computing you've always wanted. Also, here's a nice, working, and compact Amiga 600 eBay auction.

The micro comes boxed in its original The Wild, The Weird & The Wicked pack box, with 1MB of RAM, manual, cables, mouse, power supply, Deluxe Paint III, Grand Prix, and Push-Over. As an added bonus, you'll also be bidding on three Amiga Format issues, and boxed copies of Sensible Soccer, Theme Park, mini Office, and more.
