Arcade Phantom-1 (Neo Geo)

If you are the proud owner of a Neo Geo AES you'll have already noticed just how expensive the games for your console are, especially when compared to their MVS arcade versions. Well, that's a problem the !Arcade! Phantom-1 can, despite its relative rarity, solve, as it allows for MVS games to played on AES cosnoles. You can bid on one via this intriguing and US only !Arcade! Phantom-1 eBay auction.

  1. Thanks for the post Gnome! To keep things simple I make most of my auctions US only, but if anyone reading this outside of the US wants to bid, message me on ebay and let me know, we can work it out.

  2. Also, wow, I have some ugly carpet. It's fitting I guess, since it's probably from the 70's, but I'm not even sure what color it was supposed to be originally.

  4. I was distracted from the carpet by the selection of wonderful equipment on display, including that great boombox! Though I have to agree with gnome - *my* house has some awful carpet, yours is sort of at least fun and vintage.

  8. Yeah, lagers work well. A good old pale ale also blends in nicely.

  9. I was doing some reading on the Phantom-1, and it appears the guy made them for a little while, then eventually took a bunch of money for pre-orders and vanished. Not quite as cool as the makers of the Gizmondo being linked to the Swedish Mafia, but an interesting tidbit.

  10. Now, that's what retro gaming journalism should be all about. Never heard of the story before, and to be frank I always enjoy petty crime quite a bit more than its organized variants.

  11. I guess there are two sides to every story, but I found what I was talking about. One side of the story on post #18.
